Now available for sale is a somewhat hard-to-find Baltimore & Ohio F3 B unit diesel. This uncatalogued center unit diesel never appeared in any Lionel catalogue or flyer but was manufactured in the mid-1970s to match the Baltimore & Ohio AA diesels of the same era.
This particular diesel has an extremely colorful and attractive external paint scheme and is brand new, never used and truly New Old Stock inventory from 1974. Externally, the B unit has pristine colors with vibrant side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame and trucks are as clean as the exterior and free or rust and oxidation. Also included with the diesel are all original paperwork items including:
- Clean and complete original warranty card.
- Lionel Service Station Listing.
- An original box that is as solid as a brick, includes all internal and external flaps plus a complete syrofoam insert.
