Now available for sale is a clean, complete and undamaged painted red New York Central gondola from the mid-1950's. This freight car has the correct bar-end trucks no tab couplers, six original postwar stained barrels and no corner steps nor brakewheel. The exterior color is vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are crisp and clean. Additionally, the frame, trucks and couplers are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, there are no chips, cracks nor damage on the body but there is a paint chip on the interior of the gondola.
Also included with the freight car is its correct original Middle Classic box. The box is solid, has both end and tuck flaps but is missing both coupler flaps and two inner flaps. Additionally, there is some clear tape on the interior of one end flap.
