Here's a beautiful, all-original New York Central gondola from the mid-1950's. This gondola is painted a true red, has bar-end trucks plus it includes a set of six original postwar barrels. The exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering and graphics are nice and white plus the frame and trucks are clean and free of rust and oxidation. The only apology on the freight car is a tiny hairline crack in one corner (see photo 5 above) that is approximately 3/8" long. Otherwise, the rest of the car is in condition 7++ and looks great!
