Now available for sale is an absolutely stunning black hopper from 1948 along with an equally beautiful original box. This type I hopper has staple-end trucks with magnetic couplers, vibrant exterior colors along with pristine side lettering and graphics. Additionally, the body is complete, not damaged nor chipped plus all metal components are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, the body is complete and free of nicks, chips and damage.
Also included with the hopper is its original Early Classic / Three Cities box. The box is solid as a brick, has all interior and exterior flaps plus there are no blemishes on the box, no puncture holes and best of all, no tape on any of the interior flaps! Overall a gorgeous hopper with an equally gorgeous original box.
