Now available for sale is a clean Northern Pacific Center Cab diesel locomotive from the mid-1950's. This unit has clean exterior colors along with crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. However, the exterior base color of the unit should be a pure black and this diesel is closer to a blackish-blue color. Interestingly, the color is uniform throughout the entire exterior -- implying it's probably not faded from sunlight or florescent light -- which generally fades or discolors a portion of the exterior -- not the entire exterior evenly.
Otherwise, all window struts are complete and not cracked plus there is no crack by the screwhole in the shell. Additionally, the interior is nice and clean with original wiring plus the unit is free of rust and oxidation, but there is some minor aging on the end railings. Lastly, the motor has been thoroughly cleaned, service, tested and is runs like a champ!
