Now available for sale is a gorgeous set of Baltimore & Ohio Madison-style passenger cars manufactured by Lionel in the mid-1970's. These Madison passenger cars have always been a popular choice with operators and collectors given their colorful and prototypical paint scheme. Included in the set are the following passenger cars:
- 9517 Capital City Pullman
- 9518 National View Observation Car
- 9519 Mail / Passenger Combination Car
Each of the passenger cars are low mileage units with pristine exterior colors as well as gorgeous side lettering and decorations. The base, trucks, corner steps and couplers are complete with nothing chipped, cracked nor damaged and the only blemish on the cars are a couple of very, very minor roof rub marks -- most likely from the original set box. Even the observation car has a complete rear fence on the observation deck. Features of the passenger cars include:
- Illuminated interiors - all cars have been tested and do illuminate properly
- Four wheel plastic simulated passenger car trucks
- Fixed couplers on each end -- including the rear deck of the observation car
- Beautiful and prototypical Baltimore & Ohio colors and graphics
