Now available for sale is Lionel's one-year-only, uncatalogued Detroit & Mackinac hopper from 1975. This freight car has gorgeous exterior colors with clean, crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. Additionally, each of the trucks and couplers are complete and fully functional. Unfortunately, this freight car was originally a covered hopper, but the cover has been lost at some point over the prior 50+ years. Otherwise, it's a nice and clean freight car that would look great on any layout.
