Up for sale is a beautiful Southern Pacific F3 AA diesel set from 1982. This one-year-only diesel set has become popular with both operators and collectors due to it's prototypical and distinctive paint scheme plus many high quality features such as dual motors with magnetraction and much more!
Externally, both diesels are in pristine condition with vibrant colors as well as perfect side side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame, motor and trucks are as clean as the exterior. The dual motors has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and they run like a champ. Lastly, the lights work properly, the e-unit cycles nice and smoothly and the couplers are fully functional.
Also included with the diesels are their original box and sytrofoam inserts. The box is solid, the front cellophane panel is complete but it does have a tear on one edge. Internally, both styrofoam inserts are complete and not damaged. Overall, a beautiful set of high quality F3's.
