Up for sale is a beautiful, all-original 1950 version of Lionel's semi-scale Hudson and 12-wheel die-cast tender. This steamer and tender combination look fantastic and have been very well cared for over the past 75 years. The exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering is crisp, clean and complete and there is obviously no rust nor oxidation on the base, wheels nor body. The only apology is a light surface mark on the middle to rear of the tender on one side only (see 1st photo above) -- and the condition of the steamer is closer to an 8. Both the steamer and tender have been fully cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works exactly as designed by Lionel.
