Now available for sale is a clean and complete Lionel Hudson steam locomotive and whistling tender produced in the mid-1950's. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly plus the exterior colors are vibrant and the side lettering is crisp and complete. Additionally, the whistle is loud and strong and the smoke unit operates perfectly. Both units show minimal run time, however the steamer has some very minor paint rub marks on the exterior plus both tiny front steps on the cowcatcher are missing. The steps do not appear broken off, however they are missing -- possibly a mold defect -- but in any case they are not on the cowcatcher.
Also included with the steamer and tender are their boxes. The steamer box is nice and clean, has complete interior and exterior flaps and there is no writing nor staining on the exterior. The tender box isa new reproduction box. Lastly, the original instructions are dated February 1955.
