Up for sale is the one-year-only and somewhat rare USMC missile launching flatcar from 1960. This freight car is in fantastic condition with vibrant exterior colors and clean, crisp side lettering. Even the launching mechanism is in nice condition with nothing broken nor damaged. The AAR trucks are complete and functional, the rocket is an original, undamaged red over white postwar rocket however the firing mechanism does not work (which is generally due to the diaphragm being old). Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on the trucks nor wheels. Overall, a great looking freight car that does not often surface for sale -- especially in high collector quality.
