Now available for sale is a gorgeous 6520 searchlight flatcar with an orange generator, gray crackle light housing plus its original box, insert and instructions. Below is a summary of this beautiful freight car:
- This flatcar has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and the light does work properly as well as the on/off switch.
- There is no rust nor oxidation on the car nor the staple-end trucks and couplers.
- The body is in great condition and free of damage plus all four corner steps are still attached and free of rust and oxidation.
- The searchlight housing has the slightly harder-to-find crackle finish exterior.
- The box is an Early Classic / Three Cities variation -- and is in fantastic condition! It's nice, square and solid plus it has both end and tuck flaps, all four interior flaps and both coupler flaps. But best of all, there is no tape, puncture holes nor writing on the box! Lastly, the original insert is also included with the searchlight car.
- The original instructions are included and correctly dated May 1959 for the Early Classic box.
