Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, all-original 6466WX postwar tender, frame, trucks, internal components as well as an original postwar shell. The tender shell has vibrant exterior colors, crisp and clean side lettering plus it has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for your layout. Internally, the components are as nice as the exterior. Lastly, the staple-end trucks are complete and fully functional plus the frame and trucks are free of rust and oxidation.
Also included with the tender is its original Early Classic, Three Cities box and a reproduction insert. The box is clean, solid, has all internal and external flaps and the only apology is a tear along one short side (from edge to edge, about 3") as see in the 9th photo above.
This tender was produced in the late 1940's and was originally sold with the 675, 2025 and 2026 steamer, however, it is also fully compatible with many other postwar steam locomotives.
