Here's a beautiful single add-on pullman car for any postwar brown tinplate passenger car set. This one-year-only brown tinplate passenger car was produced in 1949 and has the correct magnetic couplers mounted onto staple-end trucks. Externally, the colors are vibrant while the side lettering is clean, crisp and complete plus nothing is faded nor worn. The roof matches the sides and is equally clean with vibrant paint. Lastly, the bottom of the car as well as the trucks and couplers are complete, functional and free of rust and oxidation. Finally, the interior light work properly and has been rewired.
In addition to a beautiful passenger car, its original Early Classic / Three Cities box is also included. The box is clean, solid and free of puncture holes, staining and discoloration plus it includes both end and tuck flaps, all inner flaps and one of the two coupler flaps. Lastly, there is clear tape on the interior of a few flaps securing them to their original box.
Please note: like most tinplate passenger cars from this era, the interior plastic window strips have deteriorated and are no longer in the windows.
