Up for sale is a gorgeous Chesapeake & Ohio diesel switcher from 1953 that can be proudly displayed on a shelf or working daily on your layout. This diesel is the more common three stanchion variation plus it has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and runs like a champ. Externally, the colors are vibrant, the side graphics are crisp and complete although the decals on one side are perfect while the opposite side has minimal flaking. Lastly, the interior is just as clean as the exterior and all functionality works as designed by Lionel plus the frame, trucks and couplers are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Overall condition is of this diesel is close to an 8!
