Up for sale is an original postwar frame, whistle, trucks and coupler from a 6026W tender with a reproduction shell on top. The tender shell is brand new with vibrant exterior colors and crisp side lettering. Internally, the frame and whistle have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for a steam locomotive. Lastly, the bar end trucks are complete and fully functional plus the frame and trucks are free of rust and oxidation.
This version of the tender (with bar-end trucks) was produced from approximately 1954 through 1958 and was originally sold with the 665, 685, 2037, 2055 and 2065 steam locomotives, however, it is also fully compatible with many other postwar steam locomotives.
