Now available for sale is the popular Rio Grande snowplow from the later 1950's. This motorized unit has been fully cleaned, serviced and tested -- and it runs like a champ! Externally, it has nice colors with clean, complete side lettering. Regarding the unit, here's a summary of its condition:
- The front snowplow is not an original postwar plow but rather an MPC part or reproduction item
- Both of the window struts are complete and not cracked nor repaired
- The shell has small paint rub marks on the high and corner areas
- All side railings are original postwar components. However, as seen in the photos above, there is some paint chipping present on most of the railings and minor oxidation on two railing on one side
