Here's an absolutely beautiful Rio Grande Alco A diesel from the early 1960's. This diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operates perfectly. Externally, the shell looks fantastic -- almost like new -- however there is a hairline crack in the shell from the base of one front side window to the frame. There are close-up photos in the 10th & 11th photograph above -- but the hairline crack is so minimal, it's not even appearing in the photo.
Otherwise, the exterior colors are pristine, the side lettering and graphics look great and the frame and motor are nice and clean. Lastly, the front apron is not cracked and the rear screwhole is complete and not cracked nor chipped.
