Up for sale is a clean, undamaged Missile Launcher with an original 6470 Exploding box car. Below is a summary of the components of this set:
- 470 Missile Launcher: Clean, complete and not damaged, plus it includes the original dual satellite receives and megaphone over the simulated hut. The missile launcher is complete, not damaged but the firing mechanism needs to have the rubber diaphragm replaced in order to obtain perfect operation. Also included is an original postwar missile, but the front tip appears to be a reproduction red tip. Lastly, the original box is complete, solid and free of writing and stains.
- 6470 Exploding Box Car: This box car has complete and undamaged sides as well as a complete roof. All tabs needed to secure the components in place are present and none are repaired. The roof pin is also included, but missing the rubber grommet used on the end of the pin for storage. The frame is clean and free of rust and oxidation plus the AAR trucks are complete and functional. Lastly, original instructions are included as is the original box. The box is missing one interior flap and one tuck flap plus there is some clear tape on the interior of several flaps.
