Now available for sale is a nice looking AEC Security Car with rotating searchlight flatcar and original instructions. This freight car has nice and clean exterior colors with complete side lettering and graphics. The cab is complete plus all mounting tabs are not broken nor damaged. The searchlight is an original postwar housing and does rotate properly while the top gray machine guns appear to be a reproduction part. The corner steps, trucks and couplers are complete and not damaged nor repaired. Lastly, there is some minor oxidation on the top metal plate around the rotating searchlight -- otherwise the rest of the freight car is easily graded at condition 7!
Also included with this freight car is an original Orange Perforated Panel box. Surprisingly the box has all interior and exterior flaps plus the front panel. However, there is clear tape on the interior of the front panel securing it in place plus there is some moisture staining on one end. Finally, clean, original instructions are included with this searchlight car.
