Up for sale is the common orange generator 6520 searchlight flatcar. This freight car has the smooth, lighter gray housing and the freight car has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and does illuminate. There is no rust on the car nor the staple-end trucks and no damage to the body, plus all four corner metal steps are still attached. Lastly, the exterior colors are vibrant while the side lettering is in great condition.
Please note: the on/off mechanism frequently gets stuck and requires the operator to push the remote control track a few times to rotate the car from illuminated to non-illuminated.
Also included is an original Middle Classic box in nice condition as it is missing only one coupler flap. Finally, original instructions dated 5/50 are included and the generator insert.
