Up for sale is a nice, clean and all-original Sunoco single dome tank car from the mid-1940's. This tank car does not have its number on any side decal but rather stamped onto the bottom of the frame. This variation is assumed to be 1946 production and is somewhat harder-to-find compared to the later version with the number incorporated into the side decals. Externally, the tank car body has clean silver paint, the decals are complete, however there is heavy aging on one of the four decals. Lastly, the body is straight, free of dings and dents plus there is no rust nor oxidation on the trucks, tank car body nor couplers.
