Up for sale is a nice and clean set of Illinois Central F3 AB diesels. The exterior colors are nice, the side lettering is complete and the front decal is in decent condition. Additionally, the units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and run great -- plus all functionality operates just as designed by Lionel. However, as seen in the photos above, the diesels do have a handful of small paint flakes and nicks from years of hauling freight and passenger cars around the Lionelville railroad. Internally, the units are clean, but there is some minor oxidation beginning in a few small locations. In any case, this is a decent looking diesel set for the operator looking to purchase a all-original set of postwar Illinois Central F3 AB diesels.
