Here's an absolutely beautiful Milwaukee Road EP-5 locomotive with its original box. This electric diesel has pristine exterior colors along with clean, crisp and vibrant side lettering and graphics. The interior is as clean as the exterior, there is no rust nor oxidation on the locomotive plus the pantographs are original postwar components. The only apology is a couple of small scratches on one side under the letter W -- as seen in the 2nd photo above, otherwise the rest of the locomotive is gorgeous! Lastly, the diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is fully functional -- including the horn that has been battery tested and works properly. Overall, a beautiful locomotive that would look perfect on a layout or in a display case.
Also included with the EP-5 is its original box. The box is nice and square, very solid and includes all end and tuck flaps. Overall, a nice, clean and solid box that compliments the condition of the locomotive.
