Now available for sale is a gorgeous Pennsylvania EP-5 locomotive with its original box. This electric diesel is the chocolate brawn exterior color variation that has beautiful exterior colors along with clean, crisp and vibrant side lettering and graphics. Additionally, all side and nose decals are original postwar decals! The interior is as clean as the exterior, there is no rust nor oxidation on the locomotive plus the pantographs are original postwar components. The only apology is a small paint flake by one of the roof horns -- as seen in the 12th photo above. Lastly, the diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is fully functional -- including the horn that has been battery tested and works properly. Overall, a beautiful locomotive that would look perfect on a layout or in a display case.
Finally, the original box is also included. However, as seen in the last photo above, there is some discoloration and staining on one side. Overall, a decent box that might not be collector grade, however it includes all end and tuck flaps.
