Now available for is a gorgeous and extremely clean Lionel GG-1 from the late 1940's. This locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and works great. There is no rust nor oxidation on the locomotive, the e-unit cycles perfectly, the couplers function properly and both headlights do illuminate. Additionally, the pantographs are original postwar components and properly raise & lower plus the horn has been tested and works perfectly. As seen in the photos above the body is in great condition, it is free of nicks and scratches plus there is no damage to the unit. Lastly, the side lettering, stripes and numbers are in fantastic condition! The numbers on each corner are crisp and complete plus the side stripes on one side are 75% complete and the opposite side are nearly 95% complete! Overall, a beautiful GG-1 that rarely appears for sale in high collector grade condition.
