Up for sale is a lonesome, yet fairly hard-to-find 1945 version of the 224 Prairie steam locomotive. The steam locomotive does have the correct blackened handrails -- indicating 1945 production. The steam locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ! The e-unit cycles properly, the front headlight does illuminate plus the exterior colors are extremely vibrant, the side lettering is crisp and clean and the drive rods are original parts. Lastly, other than a tiny nick on one of the front cowcatcher steps, there is nothing broken, damaged nor repaired on the steamer and certainly no rust nor oxidation.
