Up for sale is a nice and clean set of Rock Island Alco AA diesels from the early 1950's. The exterior colors are vibrant, and the side lettering is clean and complete. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly. However, as seen in the photos, there are some surface marks from usage and the main blemish is a mildly bent front apron for the power unit (which can be seen in the last photo above). Lastly, there are no chips, cracks nor damage to the shells and both diesels are free of rust and oxidation. If you're in need of a nice, smooth-running locomotive at a reasonable price, this diesel set could be the perfect choice for your railroad.
