Here's an extremely clean, all original Lionel Hudson steam locomotive along with a 6026W whistling tender. Both the steamer and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly. Externally, the colors are vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and complete. Additionally, the whistle is loud and strong, the smoke unit operates perfectly, the headlight does illuminate, the magnetraction is still present and the e-unit cycles properly. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either piece. The only blemishes on the units are the following (both visible in the 4th photo above):
- The rear cab roof has a slight bend in the top.
- The right rear step on the tender is cracked off and missing.
Excluding the two issues above, the steamer is is condition 7++ to an 8 and the tender would be in condition 7+. Overall, a great looking operator grade steam locomotive and tender combination.
