Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous all-original Hudson steam locomotive with a 6026W whistling tender. Both of these units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functional operates as designed by Lionel. The exterior colors are pristine while the side lettering and numbers are crisp and complete. There are no dings nor damage on the steamer and the tender shell is complete, including all corner steps. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on the frame, trucks nor couplers and the steamer is closer to condition 8!
Also included with this sale is an original box for the steamer and tender as well as original instructions dated June 1954. The steamer box is solid and there is no writing nor puncture holes on the box. The tender box is the smaller variation not requiring an insert. The tender box has both end and tuck flaps, all four interior flaps and one of the two coupler flaps. Lastly, the original instructions are clean and free of writing, tears, tape and staining.
