Up for sale is a nice and clean, all-original 2037 Prairie steam locomotive along with a 6026W postwar whistling tender. Both units are close to condition 7+ with clean exterior colors, nice and complete side lettering plus all four corner steps on the tender are attached and not cracked, damaged nor repaired.
Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works perfectly. The steamer runs like a champ, the e-unit cycles perfectly, the smoke unit works great, the front headlight does illuminate when power is applied to the track and the whistle is loud and strong. Lastly, the bar-end trucks with a tab coupler are complete and fully functional plus the frame and trucks are clean and free of rust. Lastly, this tender shell has the 6026W printed on each side -- which is generally assumed to be 1957 through 1959 production.
