Up for sale is a clean, original 2037 Prairie steam locomotive with a 6026W whistling tender. Both the steam locomotive and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly as the e-unit cycles smoothly, the smoke unit works properly, the front headlight does illuminate and the whistle is loud. The exterior colors are clean, the side lettering is crisp, but there are a handful of small, pin head size paint flakes on the locomotive. Additionally, the tender is complete with all corner steps, but there is some minor oxidation beginning on the base and someone glued small coal on top of the tender's simulated coal pile. The simulated coal looks great and very authentic, but obviously is not an original design by Lionel. Overall, a very nice looking operator grade locomotive and whistling tender.
