Now available for sale is an all-original 2026 Prairie steam locomotive with a 6466T non-whistling tender. This steamer and tender combination was manufactured in the early 1950's variation with the plain drivers and the 2-6-4 wheel arrangement on the locomotive.
Both the steam locomotive and whistling tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly. The three position e-unit cycles properly, the smoke unit works perfectly and the front headlight does illuminate. The exterior colors are nice and the side lettering is crisp and clean. However, there are small nicks and marks from usage and the side rods do show some aging. Lastly, the tender shell is an original shell plus one of the small edge steps on the front cowcatcher is slightly bent upwards.
