Here's an extremely clean, all-original 2026 Prairie steam locomotive from the early part of 1949. This steam locomotive is the early variation with the 2-6-2 wheel arrangement and nickel-rimmed drive wheels on the steamer. The steam locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly. The e-unit cycles properly, the smoke unit works perfectly, the front headlight does illuminate. The exterior colors are beautiful plus the side numbers are bold and bright. Lastly, the drive rods are original parts and free of tarnishing and discoloration.
Also included with the steam locomotive is its original Early Classic, Three Cities box and insert. The box has both end and tuck flaps and one of the four interior flaps plus there is clear tape on the interior of the remaining flaps.Also included is an original insert and instructions (dated 12/48).
