Up for sale is Lionel's one-year-only remake of the popular postwar 2340 Congressional GG-1 locomotive. This locomotive has been tested and all functionality operates just as designed by Lionel. The GG-1 has very limited run time and is in near-new condition. The exterior colors and lettering are in perfect condition, the side stripes are complete and there are no signs of handling nor wear. Additionally, there is no rust nor oxidation to the trucks nor frame and the body is in great condition. The locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and runs like a champ! Lastly, the operating couplers on each end are fully functional and both interior light do illuminate properly.
Also included is an original box, insert, instruction booklet and plastic card to go over the CAB-1 remote control.
