Up for sale is a lot of four prewar Lionel wooden light bulb containers. Below is a summary of the containers:
- Each container is complete and not damaged.
- All wooden tops can be removed and the interiors are clean.
- Three of the containers contain original Lionel packing paper to protect the bulbs from breakage.
- The exterior labels are generally complete on the larger bottom portion, but several top lids are missing the original side label.
- The original red stamping on the top is complete on all four containers.
- One original prewar bulb is included.
- Two of the containers include an original price tag from O'Conner & Moffatt Company, a large department store in San Francisco that was eventually purchased by R.H. Macy's in July 1945.
