Here's the early 1972 version of the US Mail box car with the MPC logo printed on each side of the box car. This freight car has vibrant exterior colors along with crisp and complete side decorations and graphics. The body is complete and free of nicks, chips and damage although there are small and minor surface marks from 50+ years of usage. Lastly, the Symington-Wayne trucks have been replaced with the premium Lionel die-cast sprung metal trucks -- a very nice upgrade for this box car. Otherwise, the trucks and couplers are complete, not damaged and fully functional.
