Here's a beautiful Southern Pacific bay window caboose that was only manufactured for a single year: 1979. This uncatalogued caboose has gorgeous exterior colors with crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. There's not a nick or mark on the caboose and the end railings are complete and not cracked nor damaged. Additionally, the base and trucks are clean and free of rust and oxidation plus the simulated smokestack is still taped to the frame -- as originally sold by Lionel.
Also included with the caboose is its original box. The box is solid, it has all flaps and the front cellophane panel is complete and intact, however there is some shelf wear on the exterior. Overall, a beautiful bay window caboose that does not often surface for sale.
