Now available for sale is a brand new, never used and truly New Old Stock Milwaukee Road SD-18 diesel locomotive that was manufactured for only a single year: 1978. Externally, this diesel has pristine colors with vibrant side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame, motor and trucks are as clean as the exterior. The motor has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ. Lastly, the lights work properly, the e-unit is functional and the couplers operate properly.
Also included with the diesel are all original paperwork items including:
- Clean and complete original instructions.
- Original warranty card.
- Lionel Railroader Club Membership Application form.
- An original box that is as solid as a brick, includes all internal and external flaps plus a complete syrofoam insert.
