Up for sale is an extremely clean, all original Pennsylvania Little Joe EP-5 electric locomotive. This EP-5 has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ! The motor is nice and smooth, the e-unit cycles properly, both headlights do illuminate plus both pantographs raise and lower properly. Internally, the frame is spotless and the motor and all internal components are correct for a mid-1970's diesel. Externally, the colors are vibrant, the side stripes are complete and the only apology is one common hairline crack from the rivet on the end to the base. Otherwise, the exterior colors are pristine and the side lettering and graphics are in near-new condition.
Also included with the locomotive is it's original box and styrofoam insert. The box has all internal and external flaps, but is somewhat aged on the exterior. The styrofoam insert is complete and not cracked nor damaged.
