Up for sale is a clean, original Long Island GP-20 diesel from the 1973 / 1974 era. Externally, the diesel has pristine colors with vibrant side lettering and graphics. Internally, the frame, motor and trucks are as clean as the exterior and free of rust and oxidation. The motor has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ. Lastly, the lights work properly, the e-unit is functional and the functional couplers are fully operational. The only apology with this diesel is one of the rear small handrailing is missing from the short end of the cab (see photo 2, to the left of the cab).
Also included with the diesel is its original box and styrofoam insert. The front window panel is included, not damaged, but has become unglued from the box.
