Up for sale is a nice and clean operator grade, all-original 736 Berkshire locomotive with a 2046W Lionel Lines whistling tender. Both the locomotive and tender each have clean exterior colors with nice side lettering and graphics however there are a few light letters on the tender. Additionally, there are small and minor surface nicks and marks from usage on each unit although nothing is chipped, cracked nor damaged on either the steamer nor tender. The units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works properly including the e-unit, the smoke unit, the headlight is functional plus the tender whistle is loud.
The trucks, frame and wheels are clean and free of rust and oxidation and the tender has an original postwar shell that is complete with both rear corner steps. However, someone removed the front center rail collector assembly on the tender -- although this does not impair usage of the whistle -- it still sounds great! If you're looking for a great running operator grade Berkshire for your layout, this is an excellent option.
