Product Overview
Condition: 9 Original Box: 8 Year: 1983
Here's the somewhat hard-to-find, one-year-only and uncatalogued John Hancock Diner car. This diner passenger car was an add-on to the popular Pennsylvania streamline passenger cars Lionel manufactured in 1979. This particular car is test run -- or at most only has a few minutes of track time on the wheels. The exterior aluminum is in pristine condition plus the side stripes and lettering look perfect! Additionally, the interior lights have been tested and do illuminate plus all metal components look factory fresh. Lastly, there are no blemishes on the passenger car.
Also included with the diner car is its original box and inserts. Both the box and inserts are complete although the box is a bit wavy and has shelf wear on the exterior. The wavy box is probably due to storage in a hot environment.
