Now available for sale is a brand new, never used flatcar with an original postwar Cooper-Jarrett van. This flatcar has vibrant exterior colors along with pristine side lettering and graphics plus all corner plastic footsteps are present and not damaged nor repaired. Additionally, the trucks are complete and free of rust, both couplers work as designed and all eight wheels are unrun and show no signs of ever being on a track! Lastly, the original Cooper-Jarrett van includes an original postwar elastic band, is free of nicks, chips and damage and is nice and white on the exterior with only a hint of aging.
Also included with the flatcar is it's original Late Classic box. The box has both end flaps (although part of one end flap is missing), two of the four inner flaps and one coupler flap. Additionally, there is clear tape on the interior of most of the box flaps.
This flatcar and van -- which was only available for a single year, 1958 -- is much harder to locate compared to many other flatcars with loads from the later 1950's.
