Up for sale is the scarce USMC flatcar with an original postwar amphibious duck vehicle. The flatcar is in beautiful condition with vibrant colors and clean, crisp side lettering. There is nothing is chipped, cracked nor repaired on this freight car plus the AAR trucks are complete and fully functional. Additionally, the amphibious duck is an original postwar vehicle that is free of nicks, chips and damage. The graphics on the vehicle are crisp and the colors are pristine.
Also included with this freight car is its original Late Classic box. This box is actually a 6818 Flatcar with Transformer box that has been overstamped by Lionel for the 6807 freight car. The box is solid and square plus it includes both end and tuck flaps, three of the four interior flaps and both coupler flaps. There is clear tape on the interior of a couple of flaps, a small puncture hole on one of the long sides and some aging / soiling on the exterior. Overall, a decent box that is rarely located with the original freight car.
