Now available for sale is a gorgeous and ready to run 1946 turbine locomotive with a 671W tender. This turbine and tender combination were a one-year-only option in 1946 as the turbine has a smoke bulb for the smoke unit and the e-unit is the spring loaded horizontal type without a lever protruding from the top of the boiler.
Both the turbine and whistling tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to haul your freight cars or passenger cars around your layout. The exterior paint on the steamer is pristine, the side lettering is crisp plus the front decal is an original postwar decal! Additionally, the tender shell is an original shell with nice and clean lettering plus nothing is nicked, chipped nor damaged on the tender. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on either item and all functionality operates properly such as the headlight, e-unit, smoke unit and whistle.
