Now available for sale is the 1947 version of the famous postwar Lionel turbine with nickel rims on all drive wheels. The exterior color is vibrant, the side numbers are crisp and complete plus the boiler front has an original 6200 herald decal. The turbine has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and it runs like a champ! The smoke unit works great, the e-unit cycles smoothly plus there is no rust nor oxidation on the unit. Lastly, the only apology on the unit is the rear steps have been reattached with a screw on each side (visible only when turned upside down) versus the factory press-fit method.
