Now available for sale is a nice and clean USMC Misslie Launching flatcar. This freight car was an uncatalogued freight car and only manufactured for a single year: 1960. Externally, the colors are clean and vibrant, the side lettering and graphics are crisp, complete and in near-perfect condition and even the reproduction rocket is clean and free of damage. The firing mechanism has been tested and suprisingly works perfectly! Even the AAR trucks and couplers are complete and fully functional. Unfortunately, there are six small / tiny melt marks on the top of the flatcar (as seen in the 5th and 6th photo above). Excluding the melt marks, the remainder of the freight car is gorgeous and in condition 8! Overall, a nice and clean freight car that does not frequently surface for sale.
