Now available for sale is the one-year-only, uncatalogued missile launching flatcar from 1961. This freight car is in great condition with vibrant exterior colors and clean, crisp side lettering. Even the launching mechanism is in nice condition with nothing broken nor damaged. The arch-bar trucks are complete and functional, the rocket is an original white over white postwar rocket plus the firing mechanism works just as designed by Lionel! Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on the trucks nor wheels. Overall, a great looking freight car that usually appears for sale in well used condition.
