Up for sale is an extremely clean and original postwar 6466WX frame and whistling components along with a new reproduction tender shell. Internally, this tender has the somewhat unusual clear molded whistle chamber -- something that is very rarely seen on a postwar whistle (see photo 3 above).
Externally, the tender shell has vibrant exterior colors, crisp and clean side lettering as well as the added hand railing on the rear of the tender shell. The tender has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for your layout. Internally, the components are nice and clean plus the frame, trucks and couplers are free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, the whistle has a beautiful sound, nice and crisp.
This tender was produced in the late 1940's and was originally sold with the 675, 2025 and 2026 steam locomotives, however, the tender fully compatible with many other postwar steam locomotives.
